Walk & Talk Lunch Break Reset

You know what helps. You just don’t always practice it…

This 30-minute lunch reset gives you a protected placeholder in your day to regulate, reflect, and rehearse the skills that actually work.

Fresh air. Gentle movement. Real-time integration.

Designed for people who carry a lot but rarely pause long enough to reset.

You’re Always Doing. Always Carrying…

Maybe it looks like overthinking everything.

Maybe it’s snapping at people you love because you’re stretched thin.

Maybe you freeze and shut down when there’s too much input.

Maybe you’re doing “fine” on the outside, but inside, you feel wound tight.

It can show up as perfectionism.
People-pleasing.
Spiraling thoughts.

Or the constant sense that you should be doing more, even when you’re already doing everything.

And the hard part?
You probably already know what would help.
Slowing down.
Breathing.
Stepping outside.
Resetting your nervous system.

You just don’t consistently practice it.

That’s where Walk & Talk Lunch Break Reset comes in.

Not as another task.
Not as another thing to manage.

But as a structured 30-minute placeholder in your week, a space to move, regulate, and rehearse the skills that help you stay steady long after the walk is over.

One small, intentional step at a time.

It Doesn’t Always Look Like a Breakdown.

Sometimes it looks like decision fatigue. Irritability. Never fully relaxing, even when you finally get a break…

Maybe you look steady on the outside. But inside, you’re juggling a dozen mental tabs, bracing for the next thing, and quietly wondering why it never feels like enough.

You’ve been operating this way for so long that it feels normal.

The shallow breathing.
The tension in your shoulders.
The constant internal commentary.
The snapping at people you love because your bandwidth is gone.

You keep going because stopping feels unrealistic.
Because there’s too much to carry.
Because people are depending on you.

And somewhere underneath all of it, you already know: white-knuckling your way through isn’t sustainable.

You’ve gotten very good at powering through. At using pressure as fuel. At letting self-criticism masquerade as motivation.

But what if the constant push to “fix it all” is the very thing keeping your nervous system stuck on high alert?

Walk & Talk Lunch Break Reset offers a different kind of pause.

One that moves with you, instead of asking you to clear your calendar, sit still, or overhaul your life to feel better.

These aren’t therapy sessions.
They’re not lectures.
They’re not self-help homework.

They’re 30-minute, open-enrollment resets designed for busy minds who want to feel steadier, without adding another task to manage.

Each week, we practice one small, doable skill rooted in the Discover + Grow + Integrate™ framework and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). But this isn’t just talking about skills.

It’s somatic.
It’s experiential.
Which simply means: we practice in your body, not just in your head. Because stress doesn’t only live in your thoughts.
It shows up as:

  • Tight shoulders

  • Shallow breathing

  • A clenched jaw

  • A racing mind

  • The urge to react before you’ve even chosen how you want to respond

You can understand a tool intellectually and still feel hijacked in the moment.

That’s why we walk.

  • Gentle movement helps regulate your nervous system.

  • Being outside lowers stress chemistry in the body.

  • Practicing skills while you’re moving makes them easier to access later, in real life.

Instead of trying to calm down after you’ve spiraled, you learn what steadiness feels like while it’s happening.

Skills like:

  • Unhooking from anxious thought spirals

  • Noticing stress before it takes over

  • Slowing your breathing without forcing it

  • Responding instead of reacting

  • Taking one values-aligned step, even when things feel messy

Nothing complicated. Nothing overwhelming. Just repetition and real-time integration. And connection with other people who get it.

You’ll walk at your own pace, in your own space, connected by phone with a small group of others who are showing up for the same reason: to practice staying steady.

There’s no pressure to share. No preparation required. No performing. Just movement. Guided reflection. And a structured space to reconnect with yourself in a way that actually sticks.

Not therapy. Not another thing to perform. Just space to walk, practice, and reconnect with yourself and others. Small, repeatable moments of regulation built into your workday.

  • Walk & Talk Lunch Break Reset is offered twice a week during the lunch hour — on Tuesdays and Thursdays — giving you a consistent midweek rhythm without adding anything extra to your evenings.

    Each session is 30 minutes.

You’ll join by phone through a secure, HIPAA-compliant audio connection and walk from wherever you are — outside, on a walking pad, or taking a walk inside or around your building if the weather doesn’t motivate you to go out. Earbuds are required for privacy.

    No prep.
    No weekly obligation.
No catching up if you miss one.

Just a structured reset built into your workday, a consistent place to practice staying steady.

  • Step outside into your neighborhood, a quiet trail, or your usual loop around the block. Walk on a walking pad. Take a lap around your building.

You’ll be moving alongside others while staying grounded in your own rhythm.

There’s no pressure to match anyone else’s pace.

No expectation to share more than you want.

Just movement, guided practice, and space to notice what’s happening in your body and mind — in real time.

You’ll join through a secure, HIPAA-compliant connection using your phone and earbuds.

    Audio-only is completely welcome.

If you prefer to stay on camera while walking, that works too.

    This is your reset.

Show up in the way that supports you.

  • Each session centers around one simple theme or skill rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and guided by the Discover + Grow + Integrate™ framework.

That means we don’t just talk about concepts — we practice them.

    In ways you can feel.

Through gentle movement, guided noticing, breath, pacing, and reflection, you’ll learn how to work with your thoughts and stress responses while they’re actually happening — not just after the fact

This is somatic and experiential in the most practical sense:

You practice in your body, not just in your head.

Because understanding a skill isn’t the same as being able to access it when you’re overwhelmed.

Each week introduces one small, usable tool you can carry into the rest of your day.

One week you might practice how to unhook from anxious thought spirals.

Another week, how to pause before reacting.

Another, how to take a values-aligned step even when your mind feels noisy.

    No prep.

    No performance.

    No getting it “right.”

    Just repetition.

Because steadiness isn’t built through insight alone —it’s built through practice.

  • While Walk & Talk Lunch Break Reset isn’t therapy, it is thoughtfully facilitated by a licensed therapist (that’s me).

    Each session has structure.

    Clear guidance.

    Intentional pacing.

I’ll lead the theme, guide the practice, and hold the space — so you don’t have to.

The tone is grounded and approachable, but the container is intentional.

We follow shared agreements around care and confidentiality.

What’s shared in the group stays in the group.

    You don’t have to perform.

You don’t have to manage the room.

You just show up and practice — alongside others who understand what it’s like to carry a lot.

  • You can absolutely take a walk while listening to a podcast.

    You can save another reel.

    Bookmark another “5 tips” post.

But most of the time, that’s Discover.

    Helpful. Insightful.

And gone the moment real life gets loud.

Walk & Talk Lunch Break Reset is about what comes next.

    It’s about Grow and Integrate.

Instead of collecting information, you practice one skill in real time — in your body, in motion, in community.

You don’t just hear about unhooking from anxious thoughts.

    You try it.

    You notice what happens.

    You adjust.

    You repeat.

That’s how it starts to stick.

And unlike walking alone, you’re not relying on willpower.

There’s something powerful about practicing steadiness while connected to others.

    The consistency builds accountability.

    The shared space builds safety.

    The repetition builds capacity.

And unlike walking with a friend, you don’t have to carry the conversation.

You don’t have to be “on.”

You don’t have to manage someone else’s emotions.

You get structured support designed for your well-being.

    Not content.

    Not noise.

    Not performance.

    Practice.

  • There’s no consultation call.

    No intake appointment.

    No long onboarding process.

Just complete a brief set of forms (it takes about 2–3 minutes), and you’ll receive access to the schedule and secure group link.

From there, you can join a Tuesday or Thursday session whenever it fits your day.

    No overthinking.

    No catching up.

No pressure to commit beyond what works for you.

Just choose a time, lace up your shoes, and step into your reset.
